Hi, I am waiting on these episodes of Lost to download so I can watch them on the plane tomorrow. As soon as they are finished I am out like audi tt. That equals that I am kind of bored right now.
Oh and I am flying to Atlanta tomorrow. I have to go home and unwrap all the gifts I wrapped because apparently airport security does not possess x rays strong enough to power through the mega-fortress that is wrapping paper. All my wrapping was hasty and tape-heavy so I'm not too torn up about undoing such handywork.
I am going to finish this up and finish that up and then I'll be finished and then I'll be coming home. So I guess see some of you next week?
ps. I've gained like ten pounds since last summer, oh the perils associated with um, eating.

And another important piece of information is that yesterday I decided that if I were to ever get a panda I would name it "Laser Ming", and that I would teach it to be good at basketball.

fyi: "Panda Express" is the most misnamed place of business EVER.

I had to delete that last post. I just had to. To make up for it here is a picture of a panda hugging an arm:

I wonder what would happen if I took a nyquil and a dayquil at the same time.

MATH IN A BOX

In case you were wondering, diagram 1A represents the Elliptic Umbilic Catastrophe which has the equation , and diagram 1B represents the Hyperbolic Umbilic Catastrophe he hyperbolic umbilic is the universal unfolding of the function germ .
Catastrophes as applied to calculus and analysis are bifurcations between different equilibria, or fixed point attractors. Due to their restricted nature, catastrophes can be classified based on how many control parameters are being simulataneously varied. For example, if there are two controls, then one finds the most common type, called a "cusp" catastrophe. If, however, there are move than five controls, there is no classification.
Catastrophe theory studies and classifies phenomena characterized by sudden shifts in behavior arising from small changes in circumstances, and is an offshoot of dynamical systems theory, which allows mathematicians and scientists to study the behavior of many types of systems spanning various branches of science within a unified framework. This is all very closely related to chaos theory, where it gets either unbelievably complicated or just silly depending on how you look at it.

That's all for now, stay tuned for the second installation of math-magic

So they're loosening up on what you can and can't bring on planes now. You can bring small scissors, medium scissors and scissor sisters but you can't bring a saw. Which poses the question has someone tried to get a saw through security.

I really need a friend with a moustache so I can call him "The Tash".

Today is World AIDS day, meaning every sitcom rerun you see today is going to feature that very special episode from 1989 with an HIV positive auxiallry character. I bet Oprah has something to say about today. And Tyra too I bet if Oprah has something to say so does Tyra.

Television!
