I don't know why, but for the last week or so I've wanted to watch nothing but 80's movies starring or otherwise featuring James Spader. So last night I watched this movie called "Tuff Turf", which stars James Spader and Robert Downey Jr. as supposed high school misfits even though they look like they are in their early 30's (or at least spader does). Think "Less Than Zero" but without the inherent charm. Although it does have Jim Carroll in it, and I like that song that him/his band plays- the one about Sharon Tate or whatever, I have it on a KRS sample cd.
Anyways I was poking around the internet earlier for some sort of visual reference, and I come across this little gem of a website: A PAGE OF COMPUTER WALLPAPERS DEDICATED ENTIRELY TO TUFF TURF.

Why you would dedicate so much time to something so mediocre and random is beyond me. But I guess I just dedicated a whole blog entry to it. Hmm...

I'm waching "The New Kids" in a few days, I can only home someone has dedicated this much time and effort into internet love for that movie.
