I went to see dropsonic last night. It was at a dive bar called divebar. This has absolutely nothing to do with that, just something I made with all those sitcom openings I posted yesterday:

Here it is.

HOW MANY CLARK COUNTIES AM I DESTINED TO LIVE IN

ps. vegas is in a clark county

Newer Halloween costume idea: I am going to wear normal-lookin clothes, an eyepatch and a goatee, and claim to be from an alternate dimension.

Ok it's Saturday night and once again I am sitting at home on the internet. This time last year I was in Nashville seeing R.E.M., then it was R.E.M. again followed immediately by Jen Mears's birthday loft party, followed by Pinback, followed by Halloween it's Halloween, followed by November.

Reason #445392093 why this year should end: so I will stop comparing it to last year.

Today the netflixing began with "You Me and Everybody We Know" which was wonderful but Miranda July please stop stealing all my ideas- I really wish I were the one getting paid to be quirky and throw together arty films.
Anchorman was "just ok". Seriously this is all I have accomplished today of note and even though I can usually go on and on about doing absolutely nothing, I'm instead going to stare at the ceiling/tv and think about how I do not have a friend here at all because I would not mind a beer. And oh I can't drink alone, not in vegas. It's too nick cage that one movie he did about drinking in las vegas, and I am not a fan. Of nick cage. I like drinking. Not nick cage.

So, to sum this post up:
Drinking- yes.
Nicholas Cage action thriller- Nope.

So now I am definitely going to SF, seeing as I bought the ticket and all.

On a completely unrelated note, a few months ago my stepsister send me some wedding pics/ pics of her hamster. I am just now remembering to look at them because at the time I had no computer. And for no reason whatsoever, I am posting them here.

New Halloween costume idea: MAGIC EYE POSTER.

I might be going to San Francisco on Halloween weekend, meaning to say the Saturday and Sunday before the Monday that is Halloween.

As you can see, I got a NES emulator and a shit ton of games, neither of which were particularly difficult to do. Now I am going to go home, make a casserole, and find out exactly where in time that Carmen Sandiego is hiding!

Cheese Pizza

Traditional and comforting. And with some cheese.
You're not easily impressed with novelty.
Yet, easily impressed by novelty cereal.

Today I took a jump onto the "Laguna Beach" bandwagon. I spent most of this viewing period trying to figure out which one is "the bitch" that I am supposed to "hate". I also spent seventy dollars on makeup at sephora. I blame america for both of these lapses in judgement.

Today I went for a brisk jog. Look at what vegas is doing to me. I think I am going to learn to snowboard, soon as I find some snow and a board.

ps. if someone could tell me which one is the laguna bitch it would save me a lot of time thnx.

Here are some t-shirts I am thinking about making:

two I actually wrote last night and am just now getting around to publishing because let's face it i am lazy

Remaining copacetic with the fact that I do not leave the house really except for work and errands and by errands I mean daytime things like borders and getting toothpaste and blue jeans, remaining copacetic I think so but maybe I am just perpetually tired and am making up for seven months of not really sleeping at all, or was it two years I lose track.
I don't really have any friends here yet. You'd think I'd be all emo-annoying about that but nah I save that kind of whining for the really insignificant shit, like difficult sideways glances from difficult boys.
I have cable for the first time in three years so now I can watch things like tom cruise inside the actors studio, I can watch things and learn things because tom cruise knows things. Maybe it's all the tylenol pm that keeps me inside, I am my own tiny anaesthesiologist waving goodnight from the cut-rate killswitch across the room.

I would have said "I remain copacetic" but it sounded too goddamn pretentious like merchant ivory doing henry james doing his take on the general state of things. Yeah, meaning to say what.

Here is something I thought of:

I am going to get gelato now, I think.

I bought the second season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show on DVD. I think I have accomplished all there is to accomplish today.

Earlier I was attempting to write the word "responsible" and I accidently wrote "responsicle". So now I am going downstairs and getting a Nestle Crunch ice cream bar. Jealous?

You can smoke in the malls here. Actually, you can smoke almost everywhere- the local news tells me they just now put a smoking ban on childcare centers. But only if five or more children are cared for at said establishment. Which I guess is the very definition of "center", otherwise it would just be a....um, house. With five or less kids.

Earlier I went to yet another mall but at least this time I found the goddamn sephora. It was right next to the goddamn indoor thunderstorm. Take a left at the casino.

This town has lost it's goddamn mind, still. Also I think I might be the only person in town with red hair. Natural red hair I mean.
